Moving an observatory

Description

As mentioned in my last image post on Astrobin,  I am moving house.

This also means moving my observatory.  I was determined not to leave my roll-off roof shed behind, and so arranged for it to be moved.

I thought my AB friends might be interested in some pictures.  The move was made on a morning where the temperature was -6C, a good frost helping prevent tyre marks in the lawn (now owned by someone else).  The full move was accomplished in under 3hours, with the observatory being transported 15km (0.06 deg south, 0.16 deg east) to the Gibbston Valley.  I have actually gone from Bortle 3 to Bortle 2.

While the observatory is not quite in it final spot as I need to pour the slab first. This won't happen until I own the new place, but for the moment the current owner has let me park it at the bottom of the garden, some 20m from its final spot.  The observatory is actually set in the middle of 2ha of Pinot Noir vines, which I also now own.  It is also just above a boutique winery offering accommodation, and I am in discussions with them about various astro-tourism projects.
